Do you allow pets on your town car service?

Yes, Simon Says Transportation allows pets in our vans. We require that large pets stay inside a kennel for safety reasons.

Do you operate when it snows or the roads are icy?

Yes, we provide service all year round, including bad weather conditions. We do ask that you give us extra time to deliver you to your destination, and allow for extra time if we are driving you back to the airport for your outbound flight.

Do you provide car seats?

We highly recommend bring your own car seat and our drivers will gladly to help you install the carrier or booster seat properly. We can also provide car seat for a $5 fee.

How do I cancel my reservation?

Please call our reservation agent at (503) 997-2828. If you cancel less than 4 hours before your reservation, we may still bill you full fare as a Late Cancellation or No-Show.

How do I make a reservation for your tranportation services?

We offer you two options. You can make your reservation online. Or you may call one of our friendly, helpful reservation agents 24 hours a day at (503) 997-2828.

How do I pay for the services?

Simon Says Transportation gives you several choices. You may prepay by credit card when you make your reservation over the phone. We also give you the option of paying the driver directly with cash or credit. We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Master, American Express and Discover).

We base our airport fares on the zip code you are traveling to or from.

I missed my connecting flight. Am I going to get charged for Late Cancellation?

We understand missed flights can happen sometimes. Call the reservation agent ASAP and provide all your flight information. The agent will try to reschedule your reservation. Once we verify that the missed flight was not your fault, we will issue a full refund of your fees to your credit card.

I want a earlier flight or my flight has been delayed. Do I need to reschedule my reservation?

Please call if you wish to change to an earlier or later flight. We monitor flights for delays, we will do our best to accommodate your new arrival time.

If I’m late for my pick-up, do you charge me extra?

We wait for our customers for up to ONE hour after the arrival time of their flight before we charge additional fees for waiting. Our fee after the first hour is $30 for every 30 minutes.

My Flight was changed. How do I change my reservation?

We recognize that this happens. Flight cancellations due to weather or a problem with the airplane are outside of your control. Just contact our reservation agent at (503) 997-2828. We will be happy to arrange for a reservation that correlates with your new schedule. If at all possible, submit changes 24 hours in advance.

Should I tip the driver?

We don’t include tips or gratuities in our fares. We encourage you to tip the driver when the job has been done well. While it is optional, our driver’s greatly appreciate the customary gratuity of 15% or more.

Where can I find you at the Portland Airport?

We located at the commercial waiting area at Island 3. We also would call your mobile phone upon your arrival and guide you to our van’s location. We make every effort to park close to your arrival gate. If our driver hasn’t reached you, or you don’t have a cell phone, please contact the airport information booth by providing your name, airline and flight number. They will let us know you are ready for pick-up.

Will I have to wait for my ride at the airport?

When you make a reservation with us, we will periodically check your flight status. We take pride in being there, waiting for you.
